The Vetiver Network International allows free downloads from its archives and affiliated web site sites that hold Vetiver Systems information for the public domain. We ask that information downloaded and used should recognize the source.
We have published a number of useful brochures and technical handbooks over the years. These are available as downloads (free) and or hard copy. Hard copy of most can be purchased at Amazon.com, and can also be purchased directly from TVNI in minimum lots of 10 copies. Purchases from TVNI can only be made by bank check in US funds.
We encourage users of these publications to, where appropriate, translate into local languages for hard copy printing in the country of use. TVNI would like a copy of the translated document for publishing on this web site.

Vetiver Systems Application - A Technical Reference Manual: Second Edition. June 2008.

This 91 page book packs all the essentials for putting in place the many applications of the Vetiver System. It has five parts: The Vetiver Plant; Methods of Propagation; Disaster Mitigation and Infrastructure Protection; Prevention and Treatment of Contaminated Water and Land; On-farm erosion control and other uses. The book is based on world wide experience and especially the last eight years in Vietnam. The information can be used and applied virtually in any part of the world that has hot summers and mild (non ground freezing winters). People responsible for working in tropical and semi-tropical developing countries should own a copy of this book.

Vetiver System Brochure/Poster
This is a full color two sided (16.5x23") brochure on glossy full weight paper containing 58 images relating to vetiver grass and its application with descriptive text. The English version can be downloaded.
This brochure has proven extremely popular and has been translated into a number of languages including Mandarin, French and Spanish. The two sided brochure makes an excellent learning aid and can be used as a poster. Hard copies of the English version are available from TVNI. (minimum order 50 copies at US cents 50 each + shipping ($10 for USA buyers).

Vetiver Grass - A Hedge Against Erosion
By John C Greenfield. This is the fifth edition of a farmers' handbook first published in 1987. It is small and compact and has line drawings. The book has been further updated including actual color images equating to the line drawings. The handbook can be downloaded: English, French and Spanish.
